Telegraph Women’s Sport and Barclays join forces to support the FA’s first Women’s Football Weekend

This weekend, 16-17 November, Telegraph Women’s Sport is supporting the FA’s inaugural Women’s Football Weekend by publishing a special eight-page edition, in association with Barclays. 

With no matches in the Premier League or Championship taking place, the FA has put the best games in the best slots, to introduce the game to new and bigger audiences as part of their ambition to sell out the women’s grounds week in, week out. 

The Telegraph Women’s Sport special edition will include exclusive interviews with Manchester United Women manager, Casey Stoney and Arsenal’s 80-year-old super fan, Maria Petri. A column from England legend, Kelly Smith. Plus, previews of the matches taking place. As part of The Telegraph’s commitment there will also be a reporter at every ground, a live blog online and the special editions will be distributed to fans at the grounds.

Title sponsors of the Women’s Super League, Barclays, are using commercial placements throughout the supplement to promote their investment in the game and to establish the WSL as the biggest and most watched women’s league in the world.
