Telegraph Launches Weekday Standalone Features Supplement

PRESS RELEASE
5 May 2022

From May 9, The Telegraph is launching a new 12-page standalone features supplement in tabloid format as part of a number of enhancements to its Monday-Friday print editions.

Following reader research showing that our subscribers prefer features in a smaller format, the supplement will showcase many of the Telegraph’s best-loved columnists, reviews and arts journalism.

The Telegraph’s brilliant columnists will appear in the beautifully designed new look pull out supplement. Other highlights will include Health features on Monday, Fashion on Wednesday and extended Arts coverage on Friday. The easy-to-read format will also feature compelling and striking visuals.  The new look supplement will also be available to subscribers on The Telegraph app.

The business pages will move into the main broadsheet paper full time, ensuring that business is closely connected to news. Readers can enjoy a more integrated experience of the day’s top stories combined with a sharper redesigned data section. There will also be a greater focus on in-depth business features and analysis.

The award-winning Telegraph Sport continues every weekday and remains the UK’s only standalone quality daily sports section.

TV listings, crosswords and puzzles all remain in the main broadsheet section. The Telegraph continues to invest in its journalism with 32 new newsroom roles created in 2022. Ongoing investments this year also include a redesigned Saturday magazine, enlarged puzzle sections in the weekend newspapers and the extension of features and comment pages in the Saturday edition.

Later this year, the Telegraph will be launching an exciting new digital puzzles product.

Chris Evans, Editor, The Telegraph said:  “We are always seeking ways to improve and enhance all our products so that they offer our readers the best possible experience.  We have continued to develop our products; adapting to what our readers desire and demand.

“These changes give our readers a better mix of sections, and the addition of a new standalone features supplement to showcase the very best of our journalism.”
