All who enter can say that they played in a competition which has been won by some of the greats including Justin Rose, Jodie Ewart and many others. It’s a brilliant championship to be involved in and I wish it continued success and excellence.”

This great event has helped launch the careers of some of the best British and Irish junior golfers who in turn have inspired other young people to actively engage in sport and live healthy lives.”

David Plana, PGA Catalunya Resort’s chief executive, said: “It is a privilege for us to host such a prestigious event and we look forward to welcoming the youngsters competing for the 2018 title on our Stadium Course.
