William Sitwell joins The Telegraph as a writer and commentator

The Telegraph has today announced the appointment of William Sitwell as a writer and commentator.

Sitwell’s new restaurant column will be published weekly in The Telegraph’s Saturday magazine, as well as on The Telegraph’s website.  Sitwell’s first restaurant review column will be published in the Saturday magazine on January 5, as well as on telegraph.co.uk.

Sitwell will join The Telegraph’s team of award-winning food and drink contributors who include: Diana Henry, Rose Prince, Angela Hartnett, Xanthe Clay, Stephen Harris, Victoria Moore and Tom Kerridge.  He will also contribute occasional features to The Telegraph.

Michael Deacon will also be taking up a new column in the Saturday magazine later this year, which will replace his food column.  He will continue to write his Parliamentary sketches for The Telegraph.
