The Telegraph Launches The Poshcast, a New Weekly Video Podcast Exploring Modern Etiquette

The Telegraph is launching The Poshcast, a new weekly video podcast hosted by Telegraph columnist and author, Sophia Money-Coutts, alongside author and former special advisor to Boris Johnson, Cleo Watson. Together, they will take an irreverent look at modern social rules in a fast-changing world. No subject will be off-limits in the valiant quest to decode what ‘posh’ really means.
Every week, from Thursday 18th June, Sophia and Cleo will discuss topics ranging from Waitrose to Range Rovers, Dubai to dog breeds, straightforward shooting weekends to dress codes. There’ll also be listener input to help tackle the country’s thorniest etiquette questions. Together, with the tally-ho enthusiasm of two Jilly Cooper characters, they will navigate listeners through the choppy waters of how to behave nowadays.
The show will be distributed for new and existing audiences across YouTube, all podcast platforms and social media, and join The Telegraph’s roster of award-winning news, investigation, interview and sports podcasts, including the flagship Daily T, which reaches more than a million plays per week.
Sophia Money-Coutts said: “I’m delighted that my expertise regarding Labradors, fish knives and how to eat a banana correctly is finally being put to good use, and I’m especially thrilled to be making The Poshcast with Cleo, because she’s the funniest person I know and also has strong thoughts on important matters like Agas and the Beckhams. What an absolute joy to be teaming up with her and The Telegraph, a bastion of all that is correct.”
Cleo Watson said: “I am so pleased to be able to publicly air my crippling anxiety about any unclear social situation. Who needs therapy? From plus ones to polyamory, dinner party placement to disappointing picnics, I can’t wait to work with the brilliantly funny Soph and The Telegraph to try and make sense of modern life and what the done thing is these days. Or not.”
