The Week in Cartoons – The Telegraph launches The Matt Newsletter
A new weekly subscriber newsletter from popular cartoonist Matt Pritchett has been launched by The Telegraph it was announced today.
Every Sunday, The Matt Newsletter, penned by Matt will provide a round-up of the week’s cartoons directly into Telegraph subscriber’s inboxes. Readers will be given an insight into the inspiration behind that week’s sketches, as well as an exclusive, extra cartoon which will not have been seen in print. The first newsletter will launch on Sunday August 18.
Matt’s cartoons have been a witty fixture of the front page of The Telegraph since 1988, when they were first published. Initially published entirely in print, readers can now also enjoy Matt online at Telegraph.co.uk, via social media (@mattcartoonist), in the newspaper and now through this new exclusive newsletter. In 2018 The Telegraph celebrated 30 years of Matt with a host of activities to mark the milestone anniversary.

The Matt Newsletter coincides with the publication of a new book: The Best of Matt 2019, published October 2019 from Orion Books.
