Telegraph Media Group Appointment

Telegraph Media Group announces the appointment of Lucy Fisher as Deputy Political Editor. 

Lucy Fisher is currently defence editor at The Times, having previously been the paper’s chief political correspondent.  She has also worked at The Sunday Times and won the Anthony Howard Award for young journalists. 

Lucy Fisher said:

 “I’m thrilled to be joining The Daily Telegraph and its agenda-setting political team at such a pivotal time in Westminster. I look forward to getting stuck in.”

Gordon Rayner, Political Editor, The Telegraph, said: 

“Lucy’s track record of enviable scoops has rightly earned her a reputation as one of the best political reporters out there. She has a brilliant future ahead of her and I’m proud and delighted that she is joining us.”

Lucy will join the Telegraph in the autumn.
