Telegraph Media Group launches new subscription, Telegraph Wine Cellar, in partnership with Enotria&Coe

PRESS RELEASE
26 October 2022

UK-wide subscriber access to recommended wines, exclusive prices and member-only content

Telegraph Media Group today launches Telegraph Wine Cellar, in partnership with Enotria&Coe. The site will offer members over 100 wines at launch, hand-selected by Telegraph experts from Enotria&Coe’s extensive premium wine portfolio and accompanied by exclusive content written by The Telegraph’s specialist wine writers:  Victoria Moore, Susy Atkins and Hamish Anderson.

Many of the wines are often featured on restaurant wine lists, giving the Telegraph Wine Cellar’s members exclusive access to this premium collection to enjoy at home. The range of wines at launch will cover white, rosé, red and sparkling styles, fortified and dessert wines, with specialist spirits to follow.

Subscribers will be able to purchase the wines at member prices through the bespoke Telegraph Wine Cellar website, with free delivery on all orders. The website features expert descriptions of the wines, with tasting notes penned by our writers. The descriptions include suggested food pairings and you will even be able to find out which restaurants these wines are served at. The site also features grape guides, curated seasonal cases and tips on visiting some of the world’s foremost wine regions.

Exclusive member pricing is available only through Telegraph Wine Cellar and, owing to Enotria&Coe’s unique operational capabilities, there is no minimum order. All orders will also be delivered free nationwide.

Enotria&Coe supplies the UK’s finest restaurants, with many of the wines selected for Telegraph Wine Cellar available at venues such as Kai Mayfair, Gordon Ramsay Group, Locanda Locatelli, Gleneagles Hotel and Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Jo Morrell, Chief Publishing Officer, Telegraph Media Group says: “Telegraph Wine Cellar opens up a world of expertly curated quality wines for our subscribers. We are delighted to be working with our chosen partners Enotria&Coe and our own discerning experts to launch this very special new service.”

Enotria&Coe’s Director of Retail & Digital, Richard Weaver, says: “This initiative will give a great platform to some of the producers in our portfolio, many of whom have exceptional heritage and fascinating stories to tell about their ongoing innovation in both vineyard and winery. The last two years have demonstrated that UK consumers are increasingly interested in supporting producers with these stories to tell, but the fast-paced on-trade doesn’t necessarily always give service staff the time to share these. Partnering with The Telegraph will give these wonderful producers a new voice, and capitalise on the strong growth in e-commerce we have seen since March 2020.”

All Telegraph Digital Plus and Print subscribers will have automatic free access to Telegraph Wine Cellar as part of their subscription from today, 26 October. Digital subscribers can add it to their existing subscription and non-subscribers are also able to purchase a Telegraph Wine Cellar subscription as a standalone product for £3.99 per month.
