The Telegraph has today (Tuesday 26 September) launched a comprehensive new money advice channel, designed and expertly curated to provide its readers and subscribers with all the guidance they need to make their money work harder for them and their families.

More than three quarters of a million subscribers already access and benefit from advice and information through the paper’s Money section. Building on this loyal following, the Telegraph’s new channel is designed to allow readers and subscribers to easily find what they want to know and discover what they didn’t know about all aspects of their personal finance, whatever stage of life they are at, and whatever their financial experience.

Launched with the help of some of the country’s most respected and well-known financial commentators, including Phil Spencer, Dame Helena Morrissey and the Telegraph’s own consumer champion, Katie Morley, Telegraph Money aims to leave readers better off.

Television property expert Phil Spencer will be helping readers get the most out of their home and buy-to-let investing. Dame Helena Morrissey, a City financier with decades of experience, will write about wealth, women and family. The channel will also have articles from Dame Esther Rantzen, leading personal finance journalist Paul Lewis and Sir Steve Webb, who helped devise the new state pension.

Research showed that often people must go to multiple sources for information in order to find what is relevant to them; and that information on how to manage your money tends to be generic, or aimed at those with established financial expertise.

The Telegraph is launching innovative tools and calculators designed to help readers make better decisions with their taxes, mortgages and savings. Real-life features from readers will also set out their own money stories, and our experts’ tailored advice.

The Telegraph’s journalists and contributors on tax, pensions, consumer law, investing and more have produced hundreds of guides. From picking the best savings accounts for newborn children to building a £1 million pension pot.

Ahead of the launch Chris Evans, Editor, said:  “This new offer for our readers and subscribers represents a significant investment in our award-winning journalism. Developed by our expert personal finance journalists and subject matter specialists, it is designed to be a complete guide for all our subscribers' financial needs.

“Whatever stage of life our readers are at Telegraph Money can be part of their wealth creation journey. It is for all those who are ambitious about making their money work harder, and seeking tangible benefits for them and their families.”
